Vintage Shirts Rock!!!

Recently, I've been into simple fashion. You know, the jeans/shorts and shirt thing paired with a simple flats or flipflops. I'm very comfortable with that. Just this past few weeks, I've been buying vintage shirts and I'm loving the designs that I find. I do enjoy anything about retro, from music, cars, or fashion; they are cool and will never be out of fashion. Besides, this fashion statement of mine is very comfy especially that I'm always on the go. I always ride the jeepney and the MRT so it really feels good wearing only jeans and shirt with flipflops.

How about you? Would you like to wear vintage shirts too?

Pot Holder

I was shopping at a nearby shop looking for household stuffs. The salesladies and salesmen there were chit chatting while fixing the items. So I just made my approach to the man in the group.

Me: Kuya, san yung pot holder niyo dito?

Man: Yung lagayan ng tissue ma'am?

WTF!!!

Small Space

This video inspired me a lot because I have a very small room and I'm always having a hard time organizing my things in there. This challenged me to arrange my room better and to make it more organized. I must admit that I'm a bit burara. LOL

Stations of the Cross

Last Tuesday, our village had Stations of the Cross. We always do this during Lenten Season and I was the one who arranged the altar outside our house. We have the 6th Station. This is a tradition that I really appreciate doing in our village because we remember Jesus' sacrifice for us.

By the way, Lent in 2011 will start on Wednesday, the 9th of March and will continue for 46 days until Saturday, the 23rd of April.

In Western Christianity Lent begins on Ash Wednesday and concludes on Holy Saturday. The six Sundays in Lent are not counted among the forty days of lent because each Sunday represents a "mini-Easter", a celebration of Jesus' victory over sin and death.

Have a blessed Lenten Season everyone. =)

Pampering My Feet

Last Sunday, I had a foot spa unexpectedly. Thanks to our IELTS instructor's marketing. There was a branch of Fanny Serrano Salon that had just opened near our Review Center and we got so excited with their promo that after the class we headed straight to the salon to have our foot spa. We need a little relaxation after our stressful class.

I availed the foot spa with pedicure service. If you notice the price, it really has a big difference. It's very cheap and affordable for me so I grabbed that opportunity.

It was very relaxing especially to my feet. This feels good especially when you're very tired.

I was satisfied with their service and the people there are nice. They are very friendly. I just had my foot spa last month and I was not suppose to have it for this month but you know, since its cheap and its from Fanny Serrano then I gave in. For a jobless nurse like me, I should really spend my money wisely.

By the way, the promo is until April 30, 2011. For those who are interested, you can still catch up. It there is any...

The Maid of Honor

I Just want to share my experience being the Maid of Honor at my sister's wedding last year. I was really excited because I once dreamed to become a maid of honor but I never really expected that it will come to reality until my sister's wedding. But sadly, I gained weight. =(
I'm all smiles while walking on the isle. LOL

Fixing my sister's gown during the wedding ceremony.

Hayz, being a made of honor is not that easy. I had to carry and fix my sister's gown wherever she goes. I tell you, it's as heavy as a baby and it made me sweat that day. LOL

This a one of my memorable moments in life so I really had fun although it was really tiring. I also did a speech for my sister for welcoming her husband.
