Cosmetology Schools for Aspiring Beauticians

I have noticed that there are plenty of bloggers out there that we can rely to regarding reviews of different brands of eyeshadows, lipsticks, creams, etc. We can also learn how to apply blush on properly or use the right combination of eyeshadows just by reading their blogs. For me, it’s really a good idea to learn how to do DIY make-up on your own. But I wanted to expand my little knowledge more so I am really looking forward on enrolling in a cosmetology school. In that way, I’ll be able to learn more about it. For aspiring beauticians like me, why not try to enroll at Regency Beauty Institute. It is one of the best beauty schools in US and it is recognized throughout the country. This is one good step if you’re planning to have your own salon in the future.

My September Beauty Haul

I did not plan to buy much but as usual, I ended up buying a lot of beauty stuffs. You know I've been addicted to shopping at Watson's this year. I guess I started to get more conscious about my skin and the way I look. Honestly, I am a low maintenance woman that I don't even put creams on my face religiously though I always wear make-up. I don't regularly go to a salon to have my manicure, pedicure, haircut or even have my facial. In short, I am lazy on doing these things. So starting this month, I promise myself to take care of my skin. I've noticed that I'm starting to have fine lines on my eye area and I got scared about it.

I am an avid Nivea user so I bought these items. This is my first time to try these products from Nivea and it is my very first time to try an anti-wrinkle eye cream. This deodorant is new so I wanna try it, I am using the whitening one of Nivea. With the facial foam and toner, I was using other brand so it's really interesting for me to try these two from Nivea.

I'm starting to love this product. I can feel the effect after using it. My hair became smoother and a little bit thicker. I am really attracted with products that have a milk ingredient.

ELF products... This is my second buy of their eyeliner pen and I'm really satisfied with it. This is my first time to use their mascara. Sounds interesting since it says it has mineral in it.

I hate myself for not reading instructions. I was surprised when I opened one of the bottles at home. The brush is thin! It's too late when I read that it's for nail art. That's the advantage of buying cheap nail polish. LOL

So there you go, I just wanna share it to you guys. =)

GT: All White

This may not be my uber favorite color but I still like it for its simplicity and pureness. As a nurse, this is the usual color of our uniform if we are not wearing scrub suits. I really miss wearing this uniform since I usually wear scrub suits and I really do hope I'll be able to work in a hospital setting again. I'm planning to apply to a hospital again this year so my  skills and knowledge won't rust. I really miss it. I just don't want to work as a volunteer nurse or trainee because for me, it is really unfair not to get any incentives/salary when the  type of work your doing is the same as with the staff nurses, right? I am really against volunteerism since I have already experienced it. Been there, done that, don't wanna do it again!!!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Straight Talk for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
We really need to save in times like recession. But we cannot cut off our budget with our mobile phones when it comes to calling, messaging or web browsing. With Straight Talk, nothing is impossible and we can really save 50% when it comes to our cell phone bills and we don’t even have to sign any contracts. I guess you might think that you have just fallen into a Hook, line and sinker well, just imagine how much money you can save when you switch to Straight Talk. There’s no need for contracts and there’s no hidden charges which I’m sure that we’re all tired of. What’s good about Straight Talk is that it uses only trusted mobile phone manufacturers like LG, Motorola, Kyocera, Nokia and Samsung. Android on Straight Talk is really a great idea since it's what most people want.   Plus, it has a great nationwide coverage and reception.
They offer great monthly plans that you can choose from. First, the “All You Need Plan” which offers 1,000 minutes, 1,000 texts and 30 MB of web data which is perfect for heavy phone users. Second, the “Unlimited Monthly Service” at only $45 which includes calls, text, picture messaging and web. Lastly, the unlimited calls, text, picture messaging and web for a whole year is for $499.00 only! What I like about Straight Talk is that they include 411 calls at no extra charge at all! There are also no fees for activation, reactivation or termination.
They also offer International Long Distance Service which is a flexible prepaid service where you can make your calls comfortably from home, cell or office phones at a very low price. Now, you can Call a friend or family without any hassle.

GT: Pink Is Love

I don't know why I'm still in love with this color. I started liking it since I was in high school. That time, I feel that pink represents my personality which is "kikay" and very girly though I'm not mahinhin. Until now, I still go gaga with this color. Even my blogger template is pink and I'm really looking forward on having a pink car someday.

These are some of my pink stuff. Clockwise: small piglet plush toy, hello kitty lamp, mini make up case, dumbbell for my aerobics, rubber cases for my cellphone and ipod and pink plastic envelope for my important documents. I got a lot of it in my room 'coz I never got tired of of buying pink items. LOL
