To All Incoming Filipino Nurses!

***Just got this nice message from a fellow nurse. I don't actually know him, but his message is the reality of Filipino nurses' condition. We all know that that when we say Nurse, most people who are not in this profession would definitely think that we are rich or soon be to rich. But they are all wrong, it would take a long process and a lot of time and effort before we could reach that or worse, we would not be able to become successful. As they say, nursing is not just a profession, but also a vocation because we need to be devoted to our profession. We need to learn on how to love our patients... and not self interest. This is the truth, most nurses have taken this profession because most of us think that when we graduate and pass all the needed exams we would be able to go abroad (esp. US) and earn big. But unfortunately, most nurses are suffering because they cannot even find a job in their own country, including me. I must admit that before I enrolled for nursing, I was so confused with what to take as my course. And there goes my mom and sister who was nagging me to take nursing because it is in demand abroad. According to them, I would get work easily. Okay, since I didn't know which course to take, I took this course without even knowing if I was emotionally and physically ready. I got tempted with the possible salary that I might get. But now, I am just a volunteer nurse in a government hospital. There was a time that I wanted to give up. There was a time that I wanted to study again. Part of me wanted to stay with my profession and another part of me wanted to give up and take another path. So for those who are still planning to take nursing, think twice. Nursing if for those who really love this profession and not because of what and how much we are going to have... peace out...

(no. 1 rule yan!)
>kylangan mo ng experience not less than 2 months
>na minsan dapat 21 years old ka na kasi ung iba d tumatnggap kapg 20 yrs old lng
>at eto, get used to this! putek, hindi mo na kylngan pumnta ng HR department para mgsubmit ng resume, dahil sa guard p lng, malalaman mo na na FREEZE HIRING!!!
