Exploring KSA - Mountains/Rock Formations

Last January, my co-workers invited me to go to the Red Sand. This is my first time to explore KSA and I didn't know that this country is beautiful in its own unique way. I was really amazed with all the stuff that I've seen while we were on our way to the Red Sand. So before I share you my experience in the Red Sand, I'd like to share some photos/sceneries while we we're on our way to our destination.

When we were out of the main city, these rock formations greeted us.
A steep road. Kinda' scary. LOL
This looks creepy. I got goosebumps when I first saw this.

If you could have only seen my facial expression while looking at these wonderful sceneries. All I could say was "Wow!" It was my very first time to see these things so I was really speechless while some of my companions tell some stories about the places we passed by and of course, the Red Sand while me, my eyes are all on the dessert and mountains.

  2. I agree that one photo looks creepy. It looks like something might emerge from the dust or fog or whatever it is.. You took good photos though.

    1. Yeah, I have a weird feeling on that photo. Thanks, I'm not that really good in photography. I only use cheap camera or my cellphone. Some of the pics here are taken by my friend.

  3. "wow" was the first word that came to my mind too! It's a really nice place. The photo that looks creepy looks like the scenes we get from The Mummy or The Mummy Returns, or something. haha.

  15. Great shots! Well, that 3rd to the last image reminds me of a zombie apocalypse. You know, that fence trying to hold the walkers :)

  16. This part of KSA - the desert - seems like so far away from the city, but travel time is so fast. Bilib talaga ako sa mga highways nila doon.
